Memorials for Angela Maxie

 Angela Maxie, 54, of Poplarville, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at her home. Visitation will be Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg. Another visitation will be held Friday, September 13, 2019 at Improve Baptist Church from 10 – 11 a.m. with services immediately following at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Angela was a member of Improve Baptist Church. She was a Nurse at Hattiesburg Clinic, Southern Heart Center for 21 years before retiring in 2013. She was also an avid quilter and an antique collector. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben and Summer Sharp and Charles and Ella Mae Allen; and her father-in-law, H.C. “Pistol” Maxie. She is survived by her husband Bryan Maxie of Poplarville; two sons, Kyle (Julia) Maxie of Grove Hill, AL and Seth (Kellye) Maxie of Hattiesburg; three grandchildren, Kolt Maxie, Kylee Jo Maxie, and Magnolia Rita Maxie; her parents, Lonnie and Gayle Allen of Hattiesburg; two sisters, Charlotte (Mark) Milton of Slaughter, LA and Shelia (Bryan) Morse of Hattiesburg; and six nieces and nephews.
